In 2015 she made courage for her career with a telugu movie entitled Loafer, along with Varun Tej. She played the role of a girl named Mounika who runs away from her marriage. The film could not recover as much as expected.
She supposed to be in the sexual comedy of Karan Johar - No Sex Please, We are Indians, but the movie was called. Disha rose to a fame with her powerful performance in Mr. Neeraj Pandey's Dhser: The Untold Story, biopic of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
